SUGGESTION FOR FUTURE GUINDON REUNION CONNECTIONS: Contact: Lisa Guindon email@example.com
I have been thinking about the reunion and suggest we arrange a simple online celebration. Maybe a Founders day gathering of the Guindon’s of North America. We could all gather via an online meeting program like we did with the committee meetings. The content could be a version of the 2015 reunion presentation, some Family Tree’s and/or photos gathered in one place online for people to peruse and maybe some Q and A (live or questions pre submitted to be reviewed during the meeting) with some of our long time researchers. People could join via facebook or an online gotomeeting or adobeconnect?
I think it would be a low commitment on the part of the attendees and a much smaller commitment to the organizers than a physical event. For attendees it would just be a couple hours sitting in front of the computer on a specific date.
We could announce a date in the journal and tell people who are interested to join the https://www.facebook.com/groups/guindon.yandeau.family.reunion/ for more details, questionnaires and invites to this virtual event. We could have a test meeting ahead of time with our content to see if it can flow in a reasonable time frame. Does anybody have an interest in this idea?
